Mako (shepherd) and Pazel are bonded 15 month old friends hoping to get adopted together.

Mako von Moser is a stunning 15 month old German Shepherd. Having gone through Urban Training class, Mako’s leash manners have improved but still need some work. He is so excited to go for a walk that he needs periodic reminders of who is walking whom. Mid-to-high-energy Mako has grown in confidence and is less intimidated by loud noises. He is brimming with sweetness and curiosity, and his love for humans is apparent as he tries to hug you and kiss your face. When he spies the kiddie pool, he can hardly contain his exuberance, jumping in with as much splash as he can muster. Mako joins the other dogs at play time with an energetic enthusiasm. Once shy and retired, Mako now is active and outgoing. He is still very much a youngster who needs training and boundaries. He came to our rescue with his buddy Pazel and would love for you to consider adopting them together.

Pazel von Paderborn is an adorable 15 month old retriever mix. Bright-eyed Pazel with his heart of gold has come quite a long way in his short stay with us. Once shy and anxious, he now recognizes familiar faces among our volunteers and becomes quite the “jumping bean” when he catches sight of them. Pazel is bonded with his brother Mako and likes to be close to him at all times. He exits his kennel exuberantly and is working on his leash skills so he doesn’t sprint down the street with you in tow. Pazel is mid-to-high energy,and can be a real goof! Give him a treat and he will prance like a clown. He is extremely affectionate and will smother you with kisses if you sit next to him. With his newly-discovered trust for humans, Pazel is one of the happiest boys in the kennels. He runs into tour doggie play group full of life and is great with all the dogs in there (yes, even the big, bad boys). He also entertains himself by splashing around in the kiddie pool, looking back at us as if to say “want to join me?” Pazel already knows his basic commands and is just bursting with love, he just can’t wait to meet the wonderful adopter who will consider him and his best buddy, Mako.
